"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I am going to make this short and to the point with as much info as i can, i just want to know if she is worth keeping...my biggest fear is not being able to see my child.
Im 21 and shes 22
The girlfriend and i have been together for 5 years coming up
We have a kid
Both of us have cheated in the relationship i will admit i was the first to eff up but i changed my ways when i was told i was going to be a father. i found out by another mans wife she was cheating....which she denied until i received the emails. She put the blame all on me when i found out,i tried playing mister nice guy by staying with her and talking to her about trying to save the relationship. This was June of 2012, things still have not changed. Our sex life used to be great in the beginning, but in the past few years it has been on a steady decline, with sex happening at the most 2 times a month....if im lucky. Half the time she tells me things like "hurry up" or "make it quick". I've tried to do things that i did when the relationship was young but ive not had any luck. If anyone has any help im open to it all. And now it seems like she is trying to control EVERY aspect of my life, she wont let me go out and have fun with my friends, she wont even let me go buy a case of beer after a long work week or even let me buy anything for that matter.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I call bvll sh1t.

It's pretty damn unlikely that a 17-year-old girl is going to want a 16-year-old boy. Also, there's no such thing as a 22-year-old man who could put up with sleeping with a young woman, but only getting sex twice a month.

I don't buy the "case of beer after a long work week" line either. He's not from a generation that puts in 50-hour weeks in the factory.

Unless you actually prepare for and take control of, your own life, then you are fvcked! see a solicitor, prepare the ground for rights to have access to your daughter, (if she is your daughter) and stop being such a pu$$y, she wont lelt you buy beer ffs???

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
