Hello all,
So I've looked at this forum off and on once in a while over the past year or so. I don't know if I'm just going to get the same responses that I've read in other threads, but I thought I'd try and see what happens.

So like any other sexually deprived young male (24), I see the hot girls walking/jogging down the street and I think how I wish I knew them. College was pretty bad for me in this sense, because they were all around me, but I didn't even know the advice on this site, and I had no idea at all what to do. I just thought that there are some people who get the right to **** girls and others don't . . . that because I am shorter, thinner, have less money, didn't grow up with the same privileges, etc. I will just always have to work all my life and nobody would be interested in me, and this made me really angry of course.

I once purely by chance IMed a girl whom I found on facebook, she let me come over one night, and I fingered her while we watched a movie, but then she never let me see her again. That was junior year. So then, I IMed practically every other girl on facebook at my school, and maybe 10 or so others met me, and I didn't do anything with them, because I had no idea how to get that to happen. And thousands of girls called me creepy or threatened to report me as a result, making me feel even more isolated.

One girl who I did do something with was this really fat tall girl who I was not attracted to at all. I couldn't even get it up with her. I could have ****ed her but I didn't want to. We did everything else, though. I guess understandably, she wasn't happy.

Then I graduated and moved back home with my parents until I got a job, then got my own place. Then I started using craigslist and OkCupid to get online dates, I met about 30 girls over the past year, and hooked up with maybe 5 of them. I didn't have sex with any of them -- I was only doing it so I could get comfortable with it, not because I was attracted to them. None of the girls I met were the kind I look at on the street. They were mostly insecure and in bad physical shape.

So now I'm sick of all these online personals, and I don't know what to do. I am not really good with people in general, I don't have much in the way of friends, a few weeks ago I tried to reconnect with a girl from high school who was interesting and I wanted to be friends with her. We had a great time the two times we met, but then she never answered the phone again -- maybe she wanted me to be attracted to her, I don't know.

I go out to rock shows once a week or so, and I feel like girls are interested in me, sometimes they back into me so their bodies are touching mine, but they never initiate conversations.

I have seen some people who start conversations with every girl they see . . . but they always seem sleazy to me, and I don't see them doing all that well anyway.

Well, this is probably enough for now, I can provide more details if anyone is interested.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Have no fear my good man. An extremely easy way to get more comfortable with and knowledgeable about meeting women is to read "The Game" by Neil Strauss. The book contains very basic techniques that literally anyone can use to be more successfulwith women. Happy hunting, good luck.

Someone else once recommended How To Succeed With Women (this was before The Game came out), and I read that. It's quite good, and it's written in such a way that just reading it gives you confidence, even if you don't follow any of the advice, I found. But I didn't follow most of the advice.

Has anyone read both books and has a comparison?

But I guess most of the advice was just the same stuff I see here, and the most important part was just to talk to as many girls as possible to get comfortable with it. I guess I understand that I have to start doing this at some point, but I don't see others doing it very much, and it looks really sleazy when they do.

Does anyone have any advice on where to meet people? I have a number of things that I do, like bike riding, learning guitar, etc. but I do them all by myself, so I never meet anybody. Has anyone had good results from groups or organizations that they've joined?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Another thing: from reading some other threads, I think what I'm really lacking is the ability to establish rapport, as it is called here. If I want to, I can make myself go through the motions of saying hello, being funny, going on a date, etc. but I always block myself off somehow so that there's no real connection. Does anyone have advice for that?

Read the DJ Bible.

On top of that my method is to not give a sh1t if you succeed or not. When you're not worrying about getting any it takes the edge off things. Just go out and charm the ladies, if you dont succeed at least you had fun, right?

Yeah, but the thing is, I know I'm worse than most people at this, and with all those dates I should have gotten better at it by now. But I don't really have a clear picture of what I'm doing wrong, and if I just don't worry about it, how am I ever going to learn from my mistakes?

the best book bar none I ever read on women was called how to get girls bu Authur Gordon. It's not free, but the guy breaks it down so well it's unreal. and this was YEARS before all the other sites came out.
