You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
AGREED. Dont give a **** what people who follow society's rules think of it, either. They can keep getting burned by trophy ho's in an attempt to up their status, and be considered "cool" and "hot" by others - as they brag about banging degenerate skanks. Rather be happy and content than miserable and "awesome".foreverAFC said:if they are too attractive i get turned off, the more attractive and high maintenance they look the lamer i know they are going to be on the inside, so when i see extremely attractive women im completely turned off by them, i know they are going to act lame and they have so many dudes trying to bang them already im just completely disgusted turned off and annoyed. id prefer a cute down to earth nerdy girl instead.
Its certainly a challenge - moreso than wanting them in the first place. With enough experience, you finally learn not to go for them. Mainly because you realize theyre nothing special. I finally reached the point where, like the other guy, they completely disgust me. Theyre not even WORTH gaming... Thats how low on the ladder they are.Dekg140 said:Got to agree with all of these! Apart from the too attractive one. I get where you're coming from but damn, those hot *****es are irresistible. Of course I fvck them rather than putting my jacket down over a puddle for them but yeah
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Ahh you see but now you're bringing personality into the equation. What our good friend ForeverAFC said was that if they are too attractive, he gets turned off. And you agreed. My point being, just because a female is particularly attractive, it doesn't mean she's a slvt, attention *****, etcetc. I've met plenty of HB9s and even 10s with great personalitys, that I would never have known they had if I had just assumed they were stuck up because they were hot. Sure the chances of them being a ***** is much higher but i'm willing to take some risksfloydb25 said:Its certainly a challenge - moreso than wanting them in the first place. Of course, this is a specific type. I avoid anyone who's not good, and can spot losers, sluts, princesses, fake *****es, drama queens, bad girls, party *****s, etc pretty easily. Mainly because its all I ever surrounded myself with. Everything on these lists is what I dated - usually in the same person... Lolz. Talk about no standards or self esteem. Then again, none of these girls did, either. All we did was complain about losers to other losers - not realizing we were all losers. :trouble:
But I see where youre coming from, and agree. Theyre nothing more than a **** to me, as well, but thats not my gig. So they get avoided instead. Would rather not deal with them at all. Like, if someone is cool enough to kick it with, but too troublesome, selfish, rude, and untrustworthy to become good friends... **** em. Would rather not have them in my life, or thinking about them at all. Their bull**** IS going to affect you - just like negative people spread their misery onto others, and make them become cynical, pessimistic, and negative, too.
Theres a lot of **** in dealing with others that influences our behaviors, personalities, moods, thoughts, perceptions, etc - whether we realize it or not. Its all gravy while youre in the zone, and living in the moment. Its not until well after the fact that you realize this is / was where all your stress is / was coming from.
There are only two categories for me these days: good, genuine, relationship / friendship worthy people, and those who are avoided. **** all the bull****. Dealt with it long enough, and it does affect you. Just ask all the people on here, and the bull**** they go through just to bang a dumb slut. Its still bull****; they still have to deal with it, and hear her talk, and complain and become angry over her. Then generalizing, hating, and becoming bitter. Bad news.
Once you surround yourself with only decent people and positive influences, and raise your self confidence - all the bull**** goes away.
