I think you maybe misunderstanding the poets bro...the lovers they refer to are metaphors for god, after that they loved young boys alot, then after all else they talk about women/sex.

Once you elevate yourself you will realise female energy is too low and hence you will not want to make love to them.

At the end of the day the object of your affection is just a women, and once you know how unimpressive they are you will learn to see your sexual desires in context.
