"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Ok, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Rocko and im a bit new in the community, i have some exp, but i would like to gain a lot. I was watchin TV just now and my friend calls me up. Ive known her for years now and only now she seems cute, dont ya just hate it when that happens. I decided to go out to lunch with her to try and put a move on (dont KNOW her THAT well). Her bf got jealous and was tryin to start **** with me, w/e. I used some boyfriend destroyers and succeeded, but it was of little use cuz the guy cried for her back (AFC ftw...) She took him back and now i'm beginning to think that ****s goin down for me. SO back to the story, she has called me a few times crying about ****, sharing some DEEP stuff, but now it was different, she was crying real bad and she didn't want to tell me why, she said "you'll find out tomorow" i threatened to ask her bro and she said he wont say...any suggestions on what i should do or whats goin on?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

She might have cut herself, or gotten abused at home, if her brother knows what it is but won't say, he might be involved. If you truly are her friend just be a good guy, and listen, if she asks for advice, give it, if she doesn't continue to listen. Eventually she will cry herself out, you may never hook up with her, but sometimes it is better to be a good friends, than a good lay, and it will get you good social proof in the future, and you never know where it might go.
