"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Did I miss the memo saying that it's alright for half-naked guys to dance like retarded girls or is tectonik just some screwed up sociological phenomenon?

See here

And here

I honestly couldn't get through them both without laughing. The first time I ever saw someone doing tectonik in real life, I laughed my ass off until I fell off of the rock I was sitting on. It lasted a good 5 minutes.

I mean, my primal urges to punch these people in the face are barely suppressed by my laughter. I know that I've said that you should do whatever you want to without caring about what others think of you, but holy sh*t lol, some things just shouldn't be done.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

It takes work to be good at any type of dance, even the wierd fad ones like tek, wutang, or whatever other dances some niche group of the 21st century concocts.

If that's his scene, and he goes to electro parties and dances like that, he'll pull more tail than you. What's the point of bashing him?

I can't really pay that out considering i do the Melbourne shuffle but it does look pretty gay :).

BTW, i strongly recommend not punching one of them in the face unless you want to get beaten up by a gay. It takes good strength, agility and a fit person to be good at techno dancing so in all likelihood they can probably beat up your fat self.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I looked at the video and got no reaction.
He's doing his thing and he seems happy doing it. So what is wrong?

the question is not if he's good, b/c obviously it takes some skill to be able to do that crap.

The real questions are

1) Can he make a living doing that

2) Who is going to employ him ?

3) Who is going to pay to see that crap.

Hence why he's posting youtube videos of it.

Nope, dancing and especially raving is about self expression and fun. There are youtube videos of everything out there, i see no reason they have to be linked to a career.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Consider this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2tJbkPZ9W8. In Korea:

1) Yes, I've heard 60 grand a year
2) Battles, exhibitions, dance shows, commercials
3) Hot korean girls.

Who says it's not the same in France?

Stop hatin' because you can't dance. Any dancer would appreciate the dedication and skill and pay their respects. The haters are probably fistpumpers at the clubs.

Korea's got some of the best B-Boy crews in the world though. it's turned into something of a national pride thing over there

a few of my friends are professional dancers here in LA. between teaching and performing, they make enough to live comfortably and travel the world. it's cutthroat as hell though. other dancers always trying to bite your sht and get you to teach them moves. hardly any authenticity - just a bunch of competitive artists tryign to build their resumes

and my last post still holds. krumping is gayer than all of that

Actually dude, I can dance. I mostly do freestyle boogaloo and hip hop, but I still think tectonik is retarded.
