"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

So I hooked up with this girl a while back, everything was going "well" and all of a sudden she stopped calling me. I wasn't too upset but still a little given that I actually did like her.

We talked once in a while, nothing too crazy, On Monday, I get an e-mail from her saying that she wants my phone number since her phone is broken. I affored to give her my old phone. The phone is not old, it just happened that I got a new phone recentley. I didn't give it to her because I thought it would help me but because I am unfortunatley a nice person. I would have done the same for almost everyone (aside from some random stranger on the street)

Now she wants to hang out, she wanted to hang out last night, I decline simply because I was a) not in the mood b) entirely way too tiered c) had to be up early. (These seem like poor excuses but please be advised that they are infact modest and if you need further details go ahead and make fun of me )

We made tenative plans of Saturday and I am wondering if I even should bother.... I mean I guess I could just push to get some ass and thats it. I would be happy if a relationship actually happened but I have no desire to get my heart broken or any of that nonsense.

suggestions?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Wot?!?!
Sooooooo you want her or you dont..... i dont understand the point?

If your asking if you should get with her or not, how should anyone know... its up to you.. and if your not going to do it because you dont want your heart broken than thats just fckin stoopid. You gotta get out there and not worry about that sh!t, otherwise, everytime you think of getting with a chick, you wont, because you'll be too afraid.
You need to get sum guzzangas and get over that sh!t.
If its really hard and your finding it difficult to get over then just dont get attached.... hell... it'll might even help you bag her because she'll always be trying to get your attention cause she'll be confused as to y u dont like her more.

I have no idea what you are asking. You sound like a female thinking out loud honestly.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ok let me clear things up a) Not a girl, I just love cookies (its an inside joke sorry)

b) like i stated above, she plays games, and I am at that point in my life where I dont have time or the desire to play any games.

I guess I just need to not get attached, I think the easiet way to do that is just to fish with a dozen fishing poles that way I wont spend tooo much time thinking about her.

Cookie dude, I was referring to your "I don't want my heartbroken" statement - only women say dribble like that!!!! Your "heart" should only break for your wife and your mother. All the women who open their legs to you (who are not your wife) is a hor and thus it is not a matter of the heart but of sex!! Learn this NOW or else you'll take a beating in life!!!
