"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Okay, so I have been dating this girl now for 9 months and all till about 2 months ago everything was good. Exactly two months my gf and her roomies went to go get some furniture for their place and met a gay sales assoc that one of the girls knew. Anyway, he came over their place to help them decorate the place and became friends with them. Up until recently when my gf got a new roommate her and this gay guy have become extremely close. They hangout all the time (more than with me) and he even stays at her place. I understand they are good friends, but I am not exactly down with him staying over. What would you guys do in this case? Am I being unreasonable or should I just drop this broad?!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

If you don't trust her then end the relationship. She could be lying that he's gay just so you don't think she's cheating- there aren't enough details to go on. Is she behaving any differently?

Find out if he's actually gay before you do anything.

Well, I have met him twice and can definetely say that he acts gay. He is pretty flameboyant and even dresses really wierd. I mean, I don't care about them doing girly stuff like shopping, doing their nails, and all that other gay crap. It actually avoids me having to take her and do that stuff. But now it's getting out of hand. She doesn't really behave differently, only difference is that this kid is always in the picture. I mean hanging out is one thing, but spending the night and going out everywhere together, that's just akward. What do you all think?

Well, imposing any restrictions on her would definitely be disasterous. Maybe this buddy-buddy thing won't last forever. Is she blowing you off to hang out with him? If you aren't spending enough time together then show her by finding more fun stuff for the two of you to do. If your relationship has lost its's fun-factor then this guy is definitely filling that niche. She should want to spend more time with you if given good reason but if she starts acting flaky then it will probably be down hill from there. Your needs come first (with consideration for hers, of course) and if she isn't fulfilling those needs then you need to find someone else.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
