I have been dating my fiance for 2 years, engaged for 1, and frankly, I feel suffocated. Long story short, I used to have friends, both guys and girls. She thought I was cheating with one of those girl friends, and so I broke off all contact with them. As time went by, she began saying she doesn't like my guy friends, as they are "bad influences". She gets mad whenever they text or call me, and it erupts into a huge fight almost everytime. This happens even when it's the few friends she says she likes, and on occasion, my own brother!
On top of that, everything I do or don't do is wrong. I give this girl everything, and do everything for her. I'm the only one who cleans the house, pays for the majority of things (even though she makes more), fixes things (auto/house), and manages all the bills. And yet, if I neglect her even once, I'm instantly a bad fiance and a total jerk. I feel like she just takes and takes and hardly contributes to the relationship.
So I guess my question is how can I change this relationship? After reading other posts, I know most will say I don't have cajones and just need to leave her. She is carrying my baby, so that's not really an option at this point in time. I just want to get control back in this relationship for the time being, so how can I do that? Teach me Don Juan!

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

good ;) I'll take jerk over good husband any day.

Listen, this ***** doesnt get wet for you anymore and its showing in all this frustration getting thrown at you. Stopping giving in and acting like a chump. Stop acting like a 'good fiance' and act how you were when you first met. Might be hard seeing as you have to put up with her bad behavior all day but dont lose focus, hang out with friends and do what you want.

Your the king of the house not her. Stick to your guns, be unashamed for your 'bad influences' lol and get your house in order. Who knows maybe she has just lost her sparkle if she asks. Best of luck mate!

I kind of figured that I'd have to just step up and start doing things. Let her throw her fits, and walk away from the fights before they happen. I am not in the wrong, and I will not let her make me feel like I am anymore.

Yeah just dont let things go to argument and empty threats like 'I am not in the wrong, and I will not let you make me feel like I am anymore.'

Women dont use logic and are never in the wrong. Just be indifferent and nonreactive like you dont give a **** what her opinion is, good or bad. Just focus on enjoying yourself and rewarding her when she is part of that.

How far pregnant is she? She may sort her crap out once her hormone levels have levelled out.

When did all this start?
I'm inclined to ask for more info. I'm not going to tell you to up and leave a pregnant woman without all the details in hand.
