I recently read a study that was done in England I think, that concluded that women are less attracted to men who break eye contact more frequently.
So, I've been working on it... holding eye contact with strangers on the street, etc, and it was going quite well until...
Yesterday I am on the treadmill on like mile 8, which happened to be at the end of the aisle that led to the women's lock room. I was attempting to make eye contact with most of them as they walked by. Most of them would see I was checking them out, making strong eye contact, usually look away at some point, but would often look back to see if I was still looking (of course you don't want to be creepy, and this probably wasn't the best place, but I am practicing everywhere.
I was doing pretty well, until and HB8 was headed to the girls locker room. She looked and matched by gaze for about a full 2-3 seconds as she was going by.
What did I do? Smile? No. Casually break eye contact, after having established I was looking? No.
I panic and immediately look down at the treadmill console. Not to the left, not to the right... but straight down!
Argh!!! What a tool I am!
