I have to admit that you have some surprisingly good and insightful posts that have really made me stop and rethink things.
But, when I see this video, all I see is a guy who doesn't hesitate to use violence. Regardless of whether a woman is involved, society as whole punishes individuals who don't hesitate to use violence. If this man was hitting another man in the workplace for example, others would intervene, the guy would be out of a job, and he would be pretty much unemployable. I don't how this video is specific to men being white knights, when a similar situation could occur without a woman being involved. Society doesn't like bullies. Maybe I've been watching too much Captain America lately, but that's how I see it.
Next thing you know, you'll be telling us how the Avengers and especially Captain America are messed up because they are rewarded by women for being disposable men.

I watched the video. Not sure what to make of it as it does not show who instigated the fight.
That being said, yes, there were a few White Knights. Mostly, it seems like there were a lot of drunk guys looking for an excuse to beat on someone. That poor bastard was really in the wrong place to do what he did. At least wait in the parking lot where there's less or no witnesses.

As with every punishment for striking a woman, there's never a word about what led up to it. The man's always portrayed as a bestial, violent, borderline retard who cannot control himself under even the most pleasant conditions. Seems to me these two were arguing about a room key or the car keys, with some dirty laundry being aired to the poolgoers.
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Couldn't see the video but this thread reminds me of the beginning scene of the Movie "The Way Of The Gun". The movie was okay but that beginning scene mind ****ed half the people that saw it. They didn't know how to feel or what to think but they were intrigued and were surprised they enjoyed it.
