That's a rambling sentence so I don't know exactly what your point is. As far as answering the question in the title, I'd say if a woman is more interested in what you have instead of who you are, then her interest is transactional.

Its not the same thing. With a marriage, there is a genuine interest and its lawful. If something goes wrong down the road but the parties acted in good faith on the wedding and exchange of vows then you are not really paying for that and its a cynical false equivalency. If you are paying out on a divorce then it means you are doing better then she is economically, otherwise she would be paying you. Its just more a function of basic hypergamy that in most marriages the guy is doing better economically than the woman and is providing for her. For example, I have an ex wife and visited an escort in the past and while I may have thought in such childish terms before, I dont anymore and can see that is an crazy way to see the world. If there is money then some men will be willing to pay. In the recent traditional money and marriage system all men paid for it. Now every woman wants a man to pay which is to make him a husband and control him. If a man didnt pay he can have one or multiple partners and there would be little drama or issues in the relationships. Paying for it is taking more emotional stress or negatvitiy for which you are not being compensated financially or in some none romantic way.
