"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Ok a little back story:

Younger girl.. went to my high school currently still goes there while I'm in college (hey just a freshman, not exactly cradle-robbin' yet). We've hung out a few times and it seemed I never got the chance to kiss her.. she's told friends who I am friends with she thinks I'm sweet etc etc and whatnot and she likes me...

We usually talk daily but I stopped talking to her while she was in another state for thanksgiving... she had her **** to do and i certainly was busy as well.

She always asks if I am mad at her when I don't talk to her for long periods of time.

I am beginning to think she wants to have me in her back pocket and when she doesn't she wants to lure me back in. This relationship is going nowhere.

I've asked to hang out on several occasions but it seems our schedules conflict and I always have work whereas she has school and dances.. Granted she does have a big weekend ahead of her... but wouldn't you think she'd make time for me if she TRULEY liked me?

Any other signs that I should look for before I end up kissing her? I don't want to get rejected as it would be humiliating to say the least.

Well I'm off to the gym so I'll read the replies when I get back.

Out.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She would attempt to make time for you if she really was in to you.

As far as signs go. Don't stress yourself out over the signs.

But if you insist:

Eye Contact for extended periods....(10 secs or more).

Nice smiles :) a nice full smile.....so girls bat there eyes when they smile at someone they like....some don't.

Try touching her and see how she responds....if she seems distant and negative about it....just leave it alone....if she's positive about it and doesn't seem to care...it could be a sign of interest/ Try to stroke her hair or something...and see how she takes it.

The next time you talk to her.....be aware of how close she's willing to stand to you.....if you try to move in closer and she moves back....then she she doesn't like you...but if she stands still...and continues to smile...she probably likes you.

If you can see her pupils....look into her eyes, see if they get larger....be aware that lighting can cause pupil dialation...

Good Luck:cool:

Yes you are right - if she truly liked you she would make time for you. She is just enjoying the attention you are giving her and unfortunately it doesn't look like anything more.

I would cut all contact personally. You may find that helps the situation sometime down the road.

You're in college, how bout you give a try to dating COLLEGE girls? I know it sounds crazy but apparently girls get pretty active in that first freshman year and they probably don't have sh*t to do.

If you still want to go after your little HS crush then by all means do so but you should keep yourself honest and persue other people in your college as well.

Get out, socialize got to parties you might (or more likely will) meet some one who's just as nice and will be most likely be on the same page you are.

Thanks for the responses guys... I think i'll just be over it.. some dingus is trying to get with her now anyway so I'll just let him. He can knock himself out for all I care.

God I love this place.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
