"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I met a HB8 at my work a couple of months ago, but she has been acting strangely the past couple of weeks. I'm not pursuing her or anything of the sort, but want to figure out what her game is.

When I was first introduced to her, she rebuffed nearly any attempt at conversation. She seems quiet regardless, but I could sense this girl wanted little to do with me. I rarely saw her, so no big deal. Well, her hours changed recently so that our schedules overlap for a couple of hours a day. For the past week or so, HB8 walks into work, sees where I'm sitting and beelines for the seat next to me (when other open seats are available). Today, she sat elsewhere while I was out working on something, I returned to my seat briefly and left, when I came back she was stationed in the seat next to me. However, like before, she barely talks! I have a 50/50 shot of getting more than a one or two word answer out of her. Very strange.

Any idea what this is? Usually a girl who is interested would be a little more, you know, outgoing. If she rebuffs me so often, why is she sitting next to me every day? Like I said before, I'm trying to figure it out here on the forum because it's odd and for some reason it befuddles me.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

reading this post, the one thing that came to mind was the two school kids/young adults who, on meeting, absolutely despise each other, only to find a passion for each other and end up fuking like wild dogs.

that said, remember, this is work. Continue to be aloof and let her come to you, if that is where she is headed. Maybe she's just BPD or crazy in disguise

It's rather easy to figure this one out. She probably became curious because you don't pay her much if any attention at all. Most attractive women aren't used to men not paying them any attention. So, she could be looking for an ego stroke from you in particular or to hook up with you. Up to you to figure which one is the case.

She rebuffed you and you stopped any attempt to interact with her. Shows you have pride and self respect. She is probably not used to a man acting that way towards her.

A lot of men would keep pushing and pushing everyday (especially at work) until she tells them to go away, files a sexual harassment claim with HR or maybe both.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Work is work... Play is play. Forget about this woman. NOTHING good comes from work romance. There are PLENTY of women you can date without sh!ting where you eat. My guess is that she has figured this out and isn't interested is screwing up her professional life by fvcking a work dude.

Remember this rule:

Don't analyze women you are not f*cking.

Until this b!tch behaves in a way that benefits you.. ignore her existence. She doesn't matter until she demonstrates sexual interest, submission, and friendliness.

Only desperate men chase after sour, grumpy, b!tchy women.
This is important. Time is wasted and wheels are turned on females that have no bearing on *your* life. This is time and energy that should be devoted to females that have potential and/or other interests.

Lead! and if she follows, she'll have to drop the BS.

Work relations are a "tread carefully" zone. Make sure you have an out! Also, gossip could ruin you. If you are going to continue, I'd start looking for a new job.
