While I thought all of these were good (except for Apocolypse Now) I think Platoon was brilliant and one of the BEST War Movies out there ever.
Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.
I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.
Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules. Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Yes, Hamburger Hill was not a bad movie. Based on a true story I think as well....I forgot about that one.Ricky said:Not saying it was the best, but also Hamburger Hill was a Vietnam movie.
I liked platoon. Funny you posted this I read about Apocalypse Now on wiki yesterday. Martin Sheen almost had a heart attack during it, and he was really struggling with alcohol at the time.
If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.
Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.
This will quickly drive all women away from you.
And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Casualties of War was also incredible too, and equally disturbing and objective.
They really put heroic all-American propaganda movies like Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbour into perspective.
Born on the 4th of July was a good movie (I read the book) but the majority of the story DOES NOT take place in Vietnam, so it does not count.KneghtRyder said:you left out the best one i think : born on the fourth of july with tom cruise ..
it won like 10 oscars.
KontrollerX said:Platoon out of that list but I'd say its tied with Born on the Fourth of July.
I saw Apocalypse now once and I thought it was way too wierd and not realistic. However, maybe cult like stuff really did go on like that.Skel said:Most movie critics agree that Apocalypse Now is the best wartime movie ever. I'm not saying I agree with them. I personally love platoon and full metal jacket the most.
Tigerland was such a letdown... I was fiending for a war movie at the time, and saw the cover. I didn't expect to get a chick-like drama flick.e-lie said:See the movie tigerland it was a bomb ih the early 90's but it is an awesome flick check it out:0
Best DVD buy ever though. I paid $5.99 for Tigerland at Target and the movie is pretty good.BluEyes said:Tigerland was such a letdown... I was fiending for a war movie at the time, and saw the cover. I didn't expect to get a chick-like drama flick.
