"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I always wonder how other guys would react to this situation. I am jealous of always hearing about these girls whose brothers protected them and defended them from creeps. My brother is unfortunately not like that, or at least he never was in the past. I love him now but he never defended me when one of his friends would come on to me. And I don't just mean simple flirtation. This guy would say some of the most sexually explicit, offensive things that could be said to any woman....right in front of my brother! And what did my brother do? He just sat there and laughed!

It's been some years since then and this friend of my brother's has become a friend to me as well...he apologized for the way he acted, and I couldn't help feeling sorry for the guy. He had never had a girlfriend at that time and he obviously thought that coming on aggressively was the best way to get a girl. Obviously he was wrong, and I have forgiven him, but I still can't get over the fact that my brother would not defend me.

So....if one of your friends had the hots for your sister and started hitting on her, would you be angry, or would you be okay with it?

That's fine if one of my friends wants to hit on my sister. I wouldn't ever want to interfere with her love life. If she wants to date one of my loser friends, more power to her.

Now if somebody was ever that rude and disrespectful to my sister (or any other family member) in front of me, that person wouldn't be my friend any more. If they acted like that in my house, they would be shown the door, by force if necessary.

Luckily none of my friends ever pulled that crap. Sure they all asked my sister out (and got shot down), but none of them were ever disrespectful about it.

Sounds like your brother has some low class friends! Does he live in a trailer park?

And of course the person you should look to stand up for you .... is you. Tell your brother's friend you would never date such a low class a-hole. Tell your brother to be a man.

If they're his friends, then he trusts them, or he'd have said something. But gosh, you've got this whole "want-to-be-rescued" complex. it's feminine, but from a practical standpoint, you should learn to assert yourself.

Hell, I wish I got that kind of attention. what a great problem to have.

Better with a guy you like than with some moron.

Of course it can be embarassing if it ends bad, but just let it roll, its none of your business unless the guy does some **** to hurt her.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Unless this guy seduced me in the way of thinking he's a really good guy as well as my sister, I wouldn't let him look at her the wrong way.

I bet your sister's hot.
My sister? She is hot, and the really really funny part was she has always been a lesbian, and I never told any of my friends that.

I did what any good friend would do, I laughed my asz off while they got struck down one by one.

One roomate even yelled at me "You'll never stop me from dating your sister"

I had to go into the other room to laugh because I didn't want to give it away. My best friend was in on the secret and he would egg some of our friends on too. Good times LOL.

the problem is, you never know if your sister likes it or not. So if you ****block your friend your sister could get mad for taking away the fun. If you would'nt, she'll get mad anywayz because you didn't protected her against that "jerk".

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

You should protect your sister from rudeness, etc, but not from normal guys trying to hit on her....

1. She will resent it

2. You will be the "retarded white knight"

Rescuing a woman is the worst thing a man can do. Even super-b1tch Dr. Laura agrees with this! If you rescue some woman from her life you will have her dependent on you forever. Metal Fortress.. bad idea. This is not a fairy tale.

I have 7 sisters and my best mate of 12 years is currently dating my sister.

When it comes to people being rude to my sisters I am very protective simply because my sisters are too nice to tell them to go away. There have been many times where I have had to make sure things didn't get out of hand while out; it seems only weird guys try and start up convo. with attractive girls <---apart from you guys of course ;)

But if a mate wants to hit on one of them; they know what my position is about those sorts of things. If they do it, don't rock the boat meaning don't openly go against what my parents believe (if they do I will always side with family that is the way it is). The other thing is I don't want to know what they are getting up to.... no matter how proud they are of themself (if you know what I mean)

Sometimes I wish my sisters were UGs so my mates would stop trying but then I realise if they were they would have issues about being ugly/fat.
