"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

What if you can't even do this?

I have known guys who have trouble having a conversation with other guys and so talking to girls is way out of the question in their minds. This one guy in particular always trys to talk with people but just has alot of trouble doing it, so what I was wondering is what does a (straight)guy do when he has trouble talking to people in his own sex?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

As David D. would say: It's where you're at. There are levels to everything. You need to proceed from one level to the next. This is no different.

But like I was telling someone in another thread, stop TRYING to have CONVERSATIONS with people and start COMMUNICATING with them when you feel like it.

Join groups where you can hang around a lot of people, and don't feel like you have to say anything. If a thought or observation enters your head, express it to the group/person near you.

That'll get you started in normal social situations. Just don't be ATTACHED to the outcome (i.e. the response to your comments.)

Don't get me wrong, you ARE trying to generate positive response. But if you burn the first 100 things you communicate, don't worry about it.
