what do you think of the Lexus SC 430?

I like the SC 430 because 1) it's a Lexus so there is some Luxury factor to it 2) it looks cute 3) they don't make them any more and there aren't that many of them out there so you look more unique driving one 4) they retain their value extremely well 5) it's a japanese car so it's reliable

but someone told me to get a jeep wrangler instead. he said the SC 430 is a POS because it has no "cool" or "hip" factor to it.

What's your opinion?

My opinion is to never waste money on something that depreciates in value over time instead of appreciating in value over time.

Buy a reliable car that gets you from point A to point B, take the money you'd be saving and invest it in diversified ventures.

Buy luxury if you still want it at the point in your life that you can pay cash, otherwise forget it…
Add loan interest to a depreciating asset and you lose financially.

Don't waste your time figuring out what car to get to impress women. The only people who you'll impress with your car are dudes. Women don't care about cars. The only two exceptions to that rule are gold-diggers, or if your car is such a piece of sh*t that a girl feels ashamed getting into it, and by POS, I mean: not well taken care of, dirty, and busted. Focus on your game, confidence, and looks/style. Trust me on this. I'm a car guy and have owned all sorts of hot cars in my life (count is over 20 now and I currently own three). I now daily drive an average pickup truck with a mid-range trim level and leather interior, and I also have a race car I built that is street-legal. I've never noticed any difference in how things go with a girl when she sees what I am driving. Surprising a girl by picking her up in my race-car that I built with my own two hands has added zero bonus points for me as far as I can tell. The only thing that has improved my situation with girls is game, practice, and continuous self improvement.

Ah the SC430, Lexus' failed attempt at copying Infinit's G37/Q60. Don't buy a Jeep Wrangler if you never go off roading. It's an absolute terrible car for anything that's not off roading. The Lexus RC series took over the SC430's by the way.

Just buy a G37/Q60 coupe. It's blatantly better in pretty much every single way.
