"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When girls put in their dating profiles and stuff that they're looking for a guy "who knows what he wants and how to get it." What exactly do they mean? Are they talking about like career goals and stuff or more like a guy who knows what he wants from the girl and how to go for it (like a real DJ would)
And how does one present themselves as someone who knows what they want and how to get it.
I figured some of you guys could help translate this "********"

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

All of the above.
They are looking for a masculine man, instead of the 'Everybody Loves Ramon' or 'King of Queens' type of goofs you see every day.

Anyone notice how every damn dad on TV shytcoms from Homer Simpson to Al Bundy is an inept, bumbling, Beta/Omega moron who fears their own wives? In other words, total AFCs?

A generation ago, dads were the rock solid bedstones of their households with strong character... Now, whatever happened to the strong, Alpha male dad?

My, we've come a looong way in a short time, baby!

AFCs are good for the butts of jokes, that's why. Strong, confident men with excellent character who are well-spoken, successful, and dominant are the ones making the jokes :)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I agree. However, the TV shytcom dads of a generation ago were all far more alpha and respected within their households...even just on TV.

Think of the slow slide from "I Love Lucy," "I Dream Of Jeanie" & "Bewitched"...
To "The Brady Bunch..."
To Homer Simpson & "Family Guy" now.

You see the "progression" here?

Hell, you wanna know the BIGGEST AFC in modern media?

KING KONG!

A 25' ape that can smash T-Rex's...loses his head and goes apenuts over some cheap floozy that can do some cartwheels ("wow"). He takes her on a sappy date sliding around an icy lake and ultimately sacrifices his life at her altar of vaginahood. Without even ever getting a KISS, much less an F-CLOSE! Now, talk about TERMINAL AFC ONEITIS!!!!

Does anyone else see all the propaganda we are all DROWNED in here?

A man who takes what he wants. What does it mean? Pretty much a guy who knows what he wants to do in life and is working towards it with all his focus and energy. Could even be a preacher, and so his main priority in life is preaching or becoming one, not women or not sitting on the couch and watching TV all day. It is a guy with amibitions, and his amibitions/dreams are his main focus in life and nothing else comes ahead of them.

Sometimes, you see women go for some real losers. And you ask them, what they see in those guys? You might get answers like, cos he knew what he wanted. In cases like these, the guy has taken the lead with things, hes asked the women out, or hes kissed her out of the blue while they were just talking, he hasn't been playing games with her and pretty much just went for what he wanted.

They are more easily accepted by the masses than individuals who don't fit the stereotypical norm.

It's really not ********. What is there NOT to like about someone who knows what he wants and how to get it? Those kinds of people are usually pretty successful, powerful people.

You can't go out and get the things that "people who know what they want and how to get it" have and expect to be as good as them unless you BECOME one of them. There's no translation here. What do you want in life? How do you plan to get it? Can you answer those two questions?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
