What a night

Well this Saturday night I went out with a few friends to a bar/lounge. I have been reading a lot about DJing for a while now but I never could see how some of this stuff worked, until now (social value, and hot chick articles I am referring too). I have never had problems with women since a little kid, life has been treating me well. Seems something has finally stumped me. Walked into the bar/lounge knew a lot of people inside, got my social value up that way, occasional smile to some ladies, etc. etc.
Anyways my friend introduces me to a girl that is so smoking all the guys are drooling. I begin conversation with her and it seems we hit it off, I was waiting for the night to end to finally ask her number when out of the BLUE she says "BTW what is your number?" - This has never happened to me, maybe in my teenage years but I wasnt expecting this hot chick to ask for my number, I thought I would have to work for it.

Im a little confused though..
She has to be into me to ask for my number right??
Should I initiate the call? She said she would msg me this week..
How long should I wait before calling her?
I answered these questions by myself, but I would love some input on this.

Yes. Take the ball out of her court. Take the initiative.
Give it a couple days. 3-4 is what I usually go for. Works for me.

Called her tonight, she didn't pick up, left one of my lammest msg's of all time like a newbie.
She replies with a SMS grrrrrrr ... she said she would call and she wants to meet up. Wtf is up with this sms bull****. I am european but I live in the US now, in Europe they worship sms cause its cheap, anyways just an update.
