A friend of mine recently got in trouble for excessive speeding. He is facing a misdemeanor and doesn't have the best driving record. I don't think he ever realised that he could get in this kind of trouble for driving fast. The truth is he's a good guy but a misdemeanor is on your record. If he is convicted he is worried about his future getting jobs. And also what girls would think. What would girls think about him if he had a misdemeanor on his recod. how could he feel confident around them?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Tell him to get a lawyer because he can get it expunged, and if the lawyer is good enough, they'll drop the charges to the lesser.

TRaffic infractions like that don't go on your criminal record. It wouldn't have any effect uness it was a job where you are a driver or unless it was a sensitive government postion. And even if you commited a misdemeanor that did go on you criminal record, the nature of the offense would be what mattered. Most misdemeaners aren't of that "negative" in nature.

Oh the poor soul. Maybe he can redeem himself if he puts down the keys now and promises never to break the rules of the road ever again.

DWI is criminalized in most states. But what about it? No girls care if you had a dwi and most jobs don't either. Hit and run is criminalized, so is vehicular manslaughter, you're starting to act like a little kid here.

A lot of them do lol. But why didn't you ask that question in the first place? Your hypothetical friend doesn't even have one anyway.

sorry. its just that hes worried and the excessive speeding he did is a crime (130) and I guy I know did get a misdemeanor DWI but hes in college and the jobs hes looking for are a bigger deal then best buy. no they aren't serious crimes but i'm pretty sure it carries a record I guess I wondered how this would affect a womens opinion of you.

Dude I f'd up in college and got a DWI. I landed a fantastic job afterwards. I've also landed another even better job when I left that job. The DWI 1st offense is usually expunged and 2nd offense is usually counted as the 1st offense. So, no problems, mate.

Start surrounding yourself with smarter friends. Sure people make mistakes. Just surround yourself from people who learn from them. If you can find friends that learn from other people's mistakes, you'll be doing even better.
