Went to my first college party

My first party sucked too. I remember leaving early, before any of my friends did... because I felt sad and lonely.

Don't feel discouraged though, in my four years at college I have been to some of the most kickass parties imaginable.

They're hit or miss.

As long as you dont have to drive, get drunk and play drinking games, they help.

Well lol at parties you can't rely on other people to have fun. In the end, it's YOU who decides whether you personally have fun or not.

Most people are disappointed when they attend a college party because society is constantly feeding us the image of the "amazing party" through movies like American Pie Beta house and it's completely unrealistic. Once in awhile there will be a lot of fun but usually people just sit around glad that they are not alone.
