"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So saturday I was supposed to go out with friends and my GF was tagged to come along, we still had not arranged a time as things were being settled, so she went on to do some errands in the afternoon and I told her that if she came home by the end of the afternoon we would take ot from there.

While she was away the friends meeting got arranged earlier than expected, so I tried to give her a call but was not able to go through, so decided to get ready and leave, figured that she would call me back when available and would tell her to join us.

It happened that when she called and told her that I had left without her she got super pissed, decided not to come, and accused me of being shady and not wanting to take her with me.

Thoughts?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Sounds like you may be young enough to shoot text often...so why not just text her as well?

You tried to call her. She didn't pick up or call you back. Sounds like a spoiled brat that dad didn't say NO to enough when she was growing up.

You did nothing wrong. Insulting you by calling you shady gets her a one way ticket to dumpsville.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You did right. You didn't wait for her. You went to do your thing. There's nothing wrong with that. If she got your msg, she could have reached you.

In my dictionary, she is mad at you. Points for you.

I recently noticed the more they pissed at you, the more they into you, and it's definitely turning her on. You're a man, and you got your own path.

She's mad. Its a misunderstanding, she'll get over it. Doesn't need to be analyzed. Women are humans, sometimes they get mad at shít just like you do.

And sometimes they get mad for a reason completely different than what they are articulating. Can't oversimplify.
Of course. But I'm talking about this specific situation. This one is simple. She got left out so she got mad, pretty straight forward. Just like we'd be if our buddies went out without us with plans. It'll blow over.

Guys gotta remember, its not the end of the world everytime things aren't going perfectly smooth. Sometimes there's going to be a little tension or a disagreement and thats good for a relationship.

She sounds like a twit. Why should you have to take her along with you? Do you tag along to all her meetings with friends. Even with the best will, what happened, happened, and was beyond your control. She was too late, tough. Its not the end of the world. Really she should have just been worried that you had a good time and that's it.
Are there trust issues?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
