weird gift for valentine's day

i've been thinking about my ex-girlfriend, doing some analysis etc. i'm going after women right now, i was the one who dumped her, etc etc.

we started dating in january a few years ago and the following month came valentines day and she sent me one of her thongs in the mail with her perfume as my valentines day gift.

should i have seen that as a red flag that she was not long term material? the sex w/her was obviously off the hook. none of my friends had ever received such a thing for valentines day.

No. Why should you? That was a good gift, that was cool of her. Something a girl you're dating SHOULD do. Was she letting you have sex with her before she sent you it? Because if not, then I'd say she was being nothing more than a c*cktease, and you should've ditched her. But I don't know what happened, you'll have to tell me.
