"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Sorry for posting this for second time. I posted this in the high school section but I assume there's only a few who experienced this. I seek older DJs' aid!

QUICK! I'd like some tips or something for tomorrow! ASAP!

Alright, so I'm attending a wedding tomorrow and everytime I think about it, I think of Wedding Crashers.

I just felt like asking...but

do you guys want to suggest to me any advices, tips, encouragements, words of wisdom, or anything before I try to sarge on tomorrow? What to say?

P.S. - It's a korean wedding dudes...lots of fluent speaking koreans. What's ironic is that I'M korean yet I don't speak as fluently as the other people do. Sarging those fob chicks will be a challenge

P.P.S. - It would be very helpful if you guys can tell me what to talk about that is wedding related or something. It's my first attending a wedding, and I wanna get a good impression of it (by doing the DJ of course), so I attend more weddings from now on if you know what I mean ;)

Thanks.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

FIELD REPORT: Wedding = BoRiNg

So I got back from my wedding an hour ago...and let me tell you.

IT WAS A TOTAL LET-DOWN.

No, I'm not complaining because I didn't bother to approach. It was because there was no one to approach. The only girls I saw that were actually decent looking was either bunched up with the other guys and girls(friends of the groom/bride), and were like...23 yrs and up? The rest were men and women in their 40+. I was lucky enough to actually have the patience to sit around and eat the food, which was great by the way.

So yeah, no sarging, because there was no one to sarge. All the ones that I thought were decent enough to approach were already cuddling with other dudes, so I was out of options. Better luck elsewhere I say.
