"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

As I spend more time in the Mature Man section of SS as I recover from a recent health scare, I’ve noticed the sense of community and oneness in our searches for meanings to our existence. As men we are under attack from all sides and our banding together has been a refreshing break from the Matrix that attempts to devour us on a daily basis. I’ve noticed some dissention in recent threads and hope that it will stop. We are all here for the same reason (hopefully) – to grow as men. We are all at different levels with different concerns and in a sense it is up to us to enlighten our gender to the traps that are laid before us. We are a Band of Brothers. Cheers!

From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You know that you're speaking my language, Romangod.

But that doesn't come as a surprise to you though, does it???

There's a lingering resentment amongst the men in the MM forum. Where it comes from, I have no idea but my duty as a ranking officer of the V.U. ARMY and a proud proponent of men everywhere is to locate the source of this dissent and hostility and put a bullet square in it's eye.

We're a Band of Brothers, for sure, and it's our responsiblity to keep each other from falling.

You're right on the money, KarmaSutra. It is our responsibility to stick together and help each other from falling down and possibly ruining our lives. There should be no resentment to each other. Courteous discourse or disagreement with respect to each other's concerns should be a priority.

Many come here from all corners of the world seeking answers. Yes, we are a Band of Brothers. :up:

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

What resentment? That's not resentment, that's just the one's who haven't gotten laid in awhile. We all just need to hang out with a few gallons of beer and a room full of hotties. That would be fun as hell!

Brotherhood is a good term. Women have Feminism, and Sisterhood. Masculinism is okay by me too.

......................... or perhaps ones that have gotten laid and are left with an empty feeling and are searching for deeper truths. In my opinion, the troubles that men are experiencing are personified by their relationships with women but that is not the root cause of their unhappiness and unease. Many use it as a bad drug to temporarily ease their pain while paradoxically increasing it to the point of misery. If a few gallons of beer and a room full of hot women is the answer then we're probably asking the wrong question. Cheers!

True, let's all meet up at a pub in Amsterdam, and we'll see the truth! But seriously, you just described me in your post.

:p I'd love to go to Amsterdam again! I've been there twice and had the times of my life. Stumbling through the main town at 5:00 in the morning after a night at the coffee shop with a hot Danish woman tourist on my arm is truly unforgetable. Cheers!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Yeah, that's where I need to be right now.
