"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Was this a good response?

A girl I'd been seeing texted recently saying "even though she loves me we should keep going our separate ways"

My response; "Good, I was thinking the same thing. I've realised I don't love you any more. Goodbye"

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

No. We told you to ignore her. Why are you asking for advice you're not taking?

The thing is, you responded. Mission accomplished on her end.

What would have really eaten at her is if you didn't respond at all. It would also have proven to be a big accomplishment to yourself to keep your fingers off the phone and ignore, which you should have done.

If you had to respond, it should have been completely demeaning.....such as:

Hey good to hear from you. My date tonight rescheduled. If you want to smash and dash come on over. If not, keep going your separate ways in which I agree is best.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Any negative behaviour should be replaced with positive instantly. So ignore and go to the gym is great. Ignore and open a useful book is great. Ignore and hit up some New chicks is great. Basically instantly clear her from your headspace. You want the mind frame that if she's not useful she's out.

It seems like perhaps both of you wanted to get the last word in....

Your response was almost like you were sticking out your tongue going "nanananana I don't love you anymore either! so there!"

Which indicates that probably you still cared about what she thinks.

David X Two rules for relationships:
1. I am the most important person in the relationship
2. I don't care what she thinks

Remember: sometimes silence is the best answer.

If you wanted to show her how you get emotional over a few lines of text, great response.

If you wanted to show her that her cutting it off has no effect on you, terrible response.

Her: "even though she loves me we should keep going our separate ways"

You: "Im heading to Hong Kong next week 1st class to meet some powerful Directors looking for a leading actress in their next movie. I'd thought you would be good for the role. Can you join me?"

Non withstanding a mans height and hair, every girl has their price.

Reykhel may be on to something. But, if you dont want anything to do with her anymore, than who cares if you tell her off. Its over now...

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

She'll see right through that response.
