I'm sorry I unintentionally led you on to thinking you could have me under your terms. As a serial monogamist, I think letting someone in emotionally and being content with them having sex with other people is equivalent to having your cake and eating it too.

The way I acted around you was no different than how I would act around a girlfriend. Outside of labels, you acted how a girlfriend would act, too. This sort of interaction is unhealthy between a serial monogamist and a polyamorist. Therefore, I don't think we should see each other anymore.

Regardless, I enjoyed the time I spent with you and I still think you're a great person. Best of luck with everything.

If it were me, I would tell this to her face. However, at hand, the letter is well articulated and contains a very mature message that often gets lost in this community.
