"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

i met this girl threw some friends and she is a party girl. i wouldn't say that in a bad way but she isn't shy.

i added her to facebook. She was fun to be around when i go out with my friends. (you know.. when you go out with your friends and you DON'T game.) so i added her and started chatting with her.

so last night i was doing school work and procrastinating on facebook. i saw she liked one of my comments i made in one of my statuses. so as i do. i had to call her out as my stalker.

she starts defending her self as she would then i just go off on some tangent. i don't even care lol.

we get to talking and she tells me she was at the nickelback concert. ( she lost street cred for that) and i pay her out for that after awhile she's all up on me, like " hahaha i like you, your so funny." at this point i was like. great! come over. she couldn't because she was going to drinks with her friends..

so i just told her to message me if she wanted to party later. ( thinking yeah right this will never happen)

so i go to bed with tired eyes after doing a **** load of work and not going to the club.

wake up this morning log into facebook, and i have a message, it's her " r u awake?" message sent at 4:30 am.

i'm sure there is an unlucky brain meme in there somewhere... but i need my sleep so will just sent it up for tonight. i sent a message back like.. " i stayed up to 4:29 but i was tired so i went to bed"

see how it goes. so that's my funny story.. i didn't really think that ****y and funny really worked. but she went from cold to warm on me.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Sounds good. Only good looking guys are considered "funny" to women, so take that as an IOI.

The thing I would do differently is try to move her from Faycebhoke to texting. Text messaging is more direct and personal. Plus you are less likely to miss it when she contacts you.

yeah i was thinking about this, though it was AFTER i got the IOI. i really didn't think she had any interest in me.

i'll wait till later tonight and see if i can't get the number.. then try for next weekend. since it's Sunday and i have a **** tom of work to do.

i feel pretty good now you said that " only good looking guys are considered funny" cos, i mostly didn't think i am good looking. but maybe i am.

What I mean is she has to find you attractive (on some level) to find you funny. You don't have to be universally hot to all women.

Hamster brains aren't good at humor. They just filter it through a guy's looks/attractiveness and respond accordingly.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
