Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I never actually posted anything previously but I'm not new to SS. I have been following silently for quite a while.
OK.There's this chic a hb9. I met her 4 months ago in a mall by cold approach. I was new in the town we met by then so I asked her to guide me to the nearest bus stop as I needed to head home.we walked for a short while, like 10 minutes, through which I tried to game her though she wasn't that enthusiastic.
After she pointed to the bus stop as she walked away to where she was heading(back to work.she worked at a supermarket for nivea promotion then), I held her her back and told her to wait.I then proceeded to tell her that I wanted to see her again.she said that she wasn't going to give me her number.
I told her that's not what I wanted.what I wanted was to see her again.she told me the name of the supermarket and when she's on duty.
a few weeks later I was back to the town so u passed by her workplace.she wasn't so thrilled to see me, I must say.she said she had a busy day and we could talk some other day.no biggie.I left.
I went back just over a week later only to be told that she no longer works at the place anymore.I was disappointed to say the least
I forgot about her anyway, until I bumped into her in a mall, last week.she seemed pleased to see me and kept giggling and all that, as we chatted for a while.I did not ask for her number.again.although I mentioned seeing each other again , at which point she said OK and went into silence as if waiting for me to ask for her number.as I said, I did not.
Luck was on my side (or so I thought) when we inadvertently met in the streets yesterday what I mean is I changed direction to follow her in the opposite when we met as she wouldn't stop.yeah i know.I wasn't doing it in a weird or desperate manner and was sure to be playful about it although she acted aloof.

Now here is where it all starts.we are walking along a street with boutiques. she stops and gets into one to check out clothes.I stay outside chatting up a text book vendor by a kiosk so as to not seem desperate.suddenly she calls out my name. I ignore as I continue to chat up the vendor.she's persistent. I look back and she signals me to come.

I continue with the vendor for another minute then I head into the boutique.
she shows me a dress and asks me to pay for it. I casually say no. she puts the dress back and we walk out.without asking, she says she's not giving me her number and that she is bad news(her words).I tell her I'm worse.
she makes to walk away and I reach for her arm. she points at me and says 'dont!' in a matter of fact voice. I let go and tell her bye.
It's definitely over.Next.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She views you as an AFC chump. She thought you'd buy her the dress. Personally I'd be insulted.

Wow. That's pathetic. Why would she think you'd buy anything for her? You need to get your game tightened up.
She viewed him as the type of guy who would...that's never a good sign when you come off like that...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

How? what part of my game? I need examples from my story of things I might have done to make me come off like the provider type.

It's impossible to know. Most of what you communicate is non verbal...body language, tonality, etc...perhaps you came off as weak in these areas but again there is no way of knowing. What is for sure is you were never in the game. No woman who likes a guy is going to not give their number...

you should have gotten the hint when she didnt want to give you her number the first time you saw her.
You would have saved you a lot of energy and time with a woman that was not into you from the begining.

I dont really understand why you persisted so much...lmao.

You had to get rejected like four times to understand that she wasnt into you.

The land of improvement
It was a good idea to ask her the way to the bus station and since you were talking with her for 10 minutes , you might had said some afc sh!t to her that turned her off(i came into this conclusion because you were smart enough to give up at your 4th attemt and not at the 10th as most of people are doing) and not allowing you take from her the digits. From this point you should had taken your way and leave this b!tch behind.

Rule number one: Get her fcking digits , if not ,abandon the ship

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

If you bought the dress she may have let you hold her hand. Now you'll never know.
