"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The title is just an attention grabber. My real problem is that i think im too obvious around women, and they can usually tell when i like them. Like usually at parties, i like to pick the hottest woman in the room and have her number or something by the end of the night (personal challenge). So i go about doing this, we usually cuddle, make out, all that. But then the next time i see them theyre just totalyl uninterested, or dont return my calls. Just today i met someone i was interested in a while ago. We had some hardcore kino going on. And i saw her with a group of her friends who i also knew quite well. I went up and hugged her, and then she turned to her friends and said "well of course he hugs me before you girls." So this made me assume that i made it obvious that i liked her, causing her to lose interest. How do i make my intentions clear without being to obvious and losing her attraction?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Who hugs girls? I hug my nephew and my gf, that's it.

edit. Actually, although I'm 38 I remember a lot of exaggerated kissing and hugging from when I was a teenager, like they're your oldest friends and you haven't seen them for years, rather someone you met at a party a fortnight ago. Still, lose the habit, its AFC.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Ah i never realized. I'll stop ASAP.

I hate to seem like a jerk, but that still doesnt answer my question...

Obviously i did something before that to be too obvious/forwward/coming on too strong, cuz she didnt return my text... im pretty sure she got it too.
