Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Thats just it, go video tape yourself. Tape yourself talking, walking, singing, doing housework, playing with the dog, cooking a pizza..whatever.

You wont believe what you see, or dont see. If you dont like what you see, you can start to change very easily.

If you are really feeling gutsy, hide the camera and video tape youself talking to a girl (dont go launching into a porno now...that can get you in trouble)

Peace out

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Tape-record almost anyone's voice, play it back for them, and they'll ask "Do I really sound like that?"

I'm used to hearing my voice on tape, I'm a vocalist, but seeing myself of video tape is a shock. "I look, move, gesture, and talk like THAT?"

Sometimes it is difficult to imagine what went wrong or right in a conversation when all of your clues come from person you're communicating with (and often, they're being very polite). It's difficult to see what you're doing wrong or right unless you can actually SEE what you're doing, or someone (besides her) is there to drop hints.

When I worked in sales, I was told that the closer I came to closing, the more I'd make this face and posture that communicated desperation. My shoulders would hunch, my eyes widen, and my eyebrows raise... had no idea I was doing this but when I finally saw what I had been told and made the change, I became more successful.

Imagine if you weren't aware that every time a woman gave you attention, you became so nervous and fidgety that you scared her away? You might go through life thinking that women didn't like you because you were too fat, ugly, or unintelligent - and while all of those things could be true about you, the reason behind your constant rejections would remain an enigma until someone clued you in OR you had an opportunity to witness it yourself.

When I was in forensics (the speech one) I often taped and videotaped myself. It really is surprising to see yourself on tape and go "Holy ****! I can't believe I look/sound like that."

Through that I was able to change my posture, speaking style, etc. and be a little more convincing in my speech.

know why u sound different on tape? Its because you hear your voice after it traveled thru your skull thus changing it.

Not really dj stuff but it's an answer to one of life's common question. :D

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Try tape yourself dancing for example, you will notice right away what needs to be improved.
:)
This is a great idea.Improving one's dancing becomes easier as the person dancing will have a third eye view of exactly how they dance and how they are seen by other ppl

Taping oneself in pick ups and sarges is also a great way to improve a dj's voice & bodylanguage which is very important in a your game.
