VERY confused about this girl

So I met this HB7 named Jess at school today. I wasn't trying very hard. All I did was introduce myself and be social. Met a few other people and we started up a group chat. Now we all have each others number.

So Jess starts texting me when I get home... She has read receipts and she texts back ASAP. I've never met a girl as extroverted as Jess. On top of that, she told me today that she won, "most talkative" in her high school. Not sure if she sees me as a friend or if this is high IL. I'll copy & paste a convo we just had.

Anyway, you could do yourself a favour and remove telling people that your tired from any of your conversations. IMO telling anyone you're tired or sick when they can't do anything to change your situation is futile and energy sapping for the other person...

Change of plans

Things took a turn for the worse. My car wouldn't start this morning. I got a jump and still no luck. The battery is dead. I missed my hardest class and I had to call off getting coffee. I have no way to school now I'm stuck with my mom all day in a waiting room. I'm not even thinking about this girl anymore. I'm pissed off about my car . This is such a crappy situation and a waste of my time. I'm gonna have to get a tow, and probably she'll out hundreds. On top of that, I have to make up what I missed in anatomy and physiology , the hardest class on my schedule. My next class is in one hour and I'm still in a waiting room.

Oh great, the girl just hit me up again. This day can't get any worse . I know I'm being negative but I can't help it when some stuff happens that's beyond my control.

Just tell her you have to get your car fixed and that another meet up day would be better - really, girls understand if stuff comes up. It's way more than just the girl

Yeah man there is a simple solution to the problem but right now this is just b.s. I wish I could have gone to school, chilled with a girl, and got my work done. Now I have no car and work to make up.

I'm having a bad day. I'll get past this but i just wish this didn't have to happen. We'll see what the final bill is at the mechanic. Last time cost me 500 for an oil change, new windshield washer fluid container and pump, and I don't even know what else.

Frustrating situation man, I can't help it.

ok gambino, maybe missing out on school today wasn't the worst thing that could've happened. I got my car back. All i needed was a new battery ~ $150. I missed two classes but I'll read the textbook and do what I can.

In response to your gameplan:

I have never used kino to the extent that you describe. I'm not that smooth when I chill with girls. I'm still a little shy in that regard... When I first kiss a girl, I usually I put my arm around her first, kiss her on the cheek, and if all is well, I get the lips and it turns into a make out. The plan you describe is MUCH MORE elaborate. I like it, I really do! Except that execution seems hard for me. I don't know until I try I guess. I'm sometimes a bit nervous about the first kiss but I always get comfortable right after.

Now,I have my car back. She lives ~30 min away so should I push for plans tonight or wait until the next time on campus to grab coffee, in which the meet-up would be on HER TERMS?

know what i'm sayin? it's friday night, she probably already has plans but do you think she might go cold if we wait till next week? we just met yesterday and she's quite the friendly one so i think the sooner the better, but idk.

Friday nights + last minute plans = no bueno. Friday nights are typically reserved for couples, of which you two are not; last minute plans signals a lack of thought in meeting up with her + lack of other options on your part. It would be better to wait until Sunday afternoon and ask her for a Monday or Tuesday meet up. Oh, and don't buy into this B.S. that you have to hit her up right away/constantly lest her interest goes "cold." She was the first one to suggest a meet-up already, which means she's already wanting some kind of one-on-one outing/date with you and will accept whatever you present, regardless of when you do the inviting. If you have roadside assistance then you don't have to pay a penny. Don't bother spending $120+ on a battery by the way, a $60 one will work just fine. You usually just pay for a 3 year warranty even though the battery will most likely last longer than that.

Cancelling on her will probably only raise her interest in you. She even hit you up right after. You sleep for 8 hours a day and then another 7 hours of school, that's 9 more hours to do whatever you want. You have time to do what you need to do, including making up assignments. It doesn't take 9 hours to make up any assignment, I remember I finished my Junior research paper in 3 hours- I got an A on it.

Yeah bro, I'm doing better now. I got my car back and I'm not as stressed as I was that day. I'll make plans with the girl for this upcoming week, and see how it goes. She has been very friendly so far, calling me, facetime, and double texting. I'm happy to see where this leads.
