This is starting to look like those dystopian sci fi movies. I believe the future is exactly what Elon Musk described. But how do you handle universal income and medical? It's already been done. It's called the U.S. government. They have universal income and free medical. They are a society that has branced itself away from civilziation a long time ago. There are military bases that look better than some cities. They have bars, clubs, movie theathres, hotels, parks, diners, the whole 9 yards.

I think how it's going to work is humans will play a utilitarian role in the U.S. government. You'll be born with certain traits determined by you DNA, and will be given a role like mechanic, teacher, soldier, doctor, pilot, etc. Just like how when you enroll in the military, you take the ASVAB test to determine what your strong suits are and you are given a few options like hospital medic, nuclear engineer, foot soldier (the dumb people), pilot, mechanic, etc.

I believe the future of America is that it will just become a military industrial complex where you are given a predetermined role based on your talents. That is, if you want to belong to the social welfare society where everyone serves the government, instead of the other way around. There obviously will be outcasts as well.

I don't think that is the only thing that has destroyed the middle class. Its American factory work shipped overseas. Its inflation. It's corporate greed. It's more big business that can control the markets(labor price, product price, etc.) and buy its smaller competitors out all for market share. It's white native born Americans not wanting to do the work.

I spent much of my career as an engineer inside of manufacturing facilities. We used to have over 30 different nationalities represented at a truck manufacturing facility I worked at. It was split pretty evenly between black, white, Asian, and Hispanic. Most were immigrants, there were no illegals. There were general assemblers making $80K and supervisors making $130K and that was 15-20yrs ago. If it wasn't for the immigrants there wouldn't have been enough workers to get the trucks built.

My current business involves constructing commercial buildings and I can tell you we wouldn't get anything built if it wasn't for illegals immigrants. I am grateful for them. And yeah there was a time illegals worked for less than a native white guy would but that hasn't been the case for many years. These illegals make good money swinging hammers, hanging sheet rock, and pouring concrete. And you won't find very many white guys willing to do it. Many make more than the general contractor does.

If you want to blame one single entity, then go after the greedy fuhkers that lead American corporations. Thats how it all got started. McDonalds, Walmart, Big 3 Auto Makers, Amazon, United Health Care, DR HOrtonHomes, HOme Depot/Lowes for destroying the middle class. Notice they are all related to housing, food, vehicles, and healthcare. 4 things we all need. There's a lot of price gouging going on ever since covid.

How the money is divided is whats changed. In the hey day of this country, workers got good wages and had excellent pension plans and we produced a lot of goods here which made a strong middle class. As companies got greedier all of that dried up. Societies love for cheap products also led to our demise. Next the ma and pop business model evaporates. American owned Factories are getting built outside our borders. There is a big push for free trade and NAFTA is formed.

Now we set up our factories outside our borders and make other countries more prosperous. Its about 10-15% less to build a product in Mexico as it is in the USA. By the time you pay freight to get it back to the USA to sell it you have consumed most of that 10-15% you saved. Whats different is you gave a Mexican worker a chance at a good wage instead of an American worker. You also gave money to the Mexican government so they can build infrastructure. Doesn't make any sense.

If you want to have a prosperous country, you must have a strong middle class.

Don't have a choice. Believe what you want. I thought I explained that earlier. The construction crews are 95% Hispanic and a good majority of them are illegal. You can't find white legals to do the work.

No advanced society in history has pulled off a high level of inequality for very long. Someone's head ends up rolling or on a stick. If I was a billionaire overlord, I would throw you measly peasants some stale bread to keep you from revolting.
