"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

While I am ALL FOR martial arts and self defense; I think these guys who take part in UFC and other MMA tournaments are a bunch of animals. How can you beat the crap out of someone who is not threatening your life or has done you no wrong? I guess if you have an IQ of 70 and have no other means to make a living I guess it is ok, but geez...

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

You could say the same about boxing. It's a sport. If you can't take the heat, turn the channel.

Interesting BTW - if you by chance kill your opponent in the ring or cage, why don´t you get a manslaughter rap...?

If you are shooting your opponent in a duel, then off you go for many years.
If you switch off the life support of some terminally ill person, you go to jail as well.

All three are fully voluntary on both sides.

Interesting how much slack is cut to sports. Manslaughter is manslaughter, even if your opponent is fully willing to accept the risk or asking for it. That´t the law outside of the ring...

What about other sport arts like Judo? Are they also animals, or it is somehow more civilized? Where do you make the demarcation between primal and savage and an actual art form?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Boxing is more brutal than the UFC. Sure boxing doesent have knees to the head and elbows to the chin but then again the UFC doesent stand fighters up and count to 10 after they have taken blows to the head and let them keep fighting. Boxing gives you brain damage. UFC gives you broken bones. Which one do you think is worse?

Football and boxing have much more severe injuries than the UFC. Many of the its participants are very intelligent people. You have to be intelligent to develop a good understanding of the intricacies of striking and grappling. For example, Georges St. Pierre was once ranked in the top 25 of Canadian chess players.

There has never been a death in any sanctioned MMA event.

I've seen you start 1001 threads mate, but yet to see a worthwhile one.

It's great that you have an opinion, but so do I and I'm not starting threads left right and centre. I do cage fights from time to time, and I'm not an "animal" and I certainly don't have an IQ of about 70. If you don't like it, don't watch it, and there's no need to come and tell everyone else about it.

Mahon, you shuold delete this thread.
You look real bad saying this sh*t.
Dude, try to look at it from the fighter's perspective before you start condemning, and condescending them.

Ask the mods to delete. It's a waste.
Really, man.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

UFC doesn't have knees to the head either.

. . . WHOAH!! 300 threads started in seven years. That's a bit absurd.

To address all of your points seperately-
Many fighters have completed masters degrees or phds, or at least 4 year college. Just because someone enjoys gladitorial hand to hand combat does not correlate with lower IQ.

MMA has never had an injury like the recent one that unfortunately happened in the NFL.

There are more deaths per year in boxing and high school football than MMA, which has 0 deaths in sanctioned fights. Boxing deaths occur mostly in "toughman" or instances when weight cutting and head trauma are both very excessive.

Many fights end without a fighter taking heavy damage due to tapping out by submission.

Trained medical professionals are always on hand and ready to stop the fight after ONE knockout instead of many as in boxing or kickboxing.

And finally, MMA represents a revolution in the way martial arts are practiced and understood, and the heroicism, athleticism, and skill and sportsmanship of the competitors definitely showcases MMA as one of the most, if not the most, challenging sport in the world, physically and mentally.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

MMA is one of the safest sports you can play.. The human body was evolutionarily designed to be able to take the trauma of fighting- it wasn't designed to take the damage incurred from football, hockey, boxing, etc.

^ ^ ^ all of which have higher injury rates, and worse injuries, than mma

what i want to know is why the UFC doesn't have a female division.

it would be cool to see some hot chics doing MMA.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
