"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I get this one alot in txt form "Hey whats up?"
I don't want to say "nothing much u?" coz thats an AFC move. I dont know too many responses besides "I will txt u l8r. Im playing w/ my star wars action figures right now"

any ideas?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You can send text messages telling people you're skydiving or having rampant sex with a Victoria's Secret Model if you want to, but it won't stop you from being an AFC if in reality you're just jerking to porn.

So, if you're always telling people you're not doing much, you need to start doing something with your time.

There was a girl I was recently talking to who kept sending me late night text messages. I told her to stop sending them and call me to have a real conversation when she's ready. I think txting back and forth is lame. If you're going to send a message to someone's phone why not just call them and say it?

Only time I use it is sending someone directions, or maybe just a quick thing that needs no answer like "hope you're having a good day!" or something like that. But a back and forth conversation, why bother?

Oh man, i hate texts. In fact, i dislike talking on the phone completely. Face to face contact is the only way to go.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I have no problem with texts. I don't have the time to talk on the phone all the time or go and meet up with them, so texts are easy to read and send when I'm not so busy.

The less you write, the more power you have. Give her something like "wanna do somthng wednesdy" or "movie tuesday?". Don't send her a long message because you'll look like a dork. Keep it simple and feel free to make as many spelling mistakes as you want... cuz it implies that you don't care that much.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I strongly agree, I never have text message conversations. One of my friends texted for over an hour confirming a date with a girl that he had planned on seeing that night, but the longer he texted, the more the girl became uninterested and started to make up BS excuses that she had a headache.

My opinion, if he had called her and talked for 2-3 minutes he would have avoided her cold feet and flakines.

I prefer real conversations on the phone and only use text messages when it's late at night or early morning, to send messages that need to be written down (addresses, phone numbers, directions, and quick messages, or alternate to leaving a voicemail)

Plus text messages can add up and cost mucho $$$
