She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
She 'must' come back, you 'wouldn't live wihout her?' Your are just depressing yourself now, snap out of it.DGboy23 said:Man, she must come back.. I wouldn't live without her. When is the best time to court her again? Would that be a good idea? Just to prove how much I love her..
By the way, do you think she'll come back?
To be honest, I was the one who was in control she just got fed up to what I did.. Man, she is my life and I can't live without her..WhAcKeD! said:Forget about her. It seems to me the focus in your life is in the wrong place. I think you need to take this time to find out who you really are and learn more about yourself.
By the way you type it sounds like you have been caged this whole time, and now you have finally been let out. You really want to go back to that? It obviously sounds like she was the one in control of the relationship.
Oh yeah, and god had nothing to do with giving you the girl or taking her away, that was YOUR own doing. I remember when I was a huge ass AFC and I would say that same crap, my how things have changed...
Yes, you CAN live without her, it just feels like you can't.DGboy23 said:To be honest, I was the one who was in control she just got fed up to what I did.. Man, she is my life and I can't live without her..
i'm sorry man but I'm in the office right now and they've blocked Yahoo Messenger. I can try to contact you tomorrow when I'm at home..DGboy23 said:Man, she must come back.. Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Food and Water are the only two things you can't live without!!
Man, Ive been hurt a lot of times now that is why I don't want to lose her cause this time around, it is my fault. I don't want to get her out of my mind, I'm sorry but I'm really in love with her.. And I don't want any other girl cause I've been there done that. You know that kind of stuff..Kings_royalty said:She 'must' come back, you 'wouldn't live wihout her?' You need to forget trying to court her or win her back, that's just going to get you anxious (more than you already are).
Right now, you need to work on getting her 'out of your mind', ADJUST to the situatiion as it is NOW. Get up from your desk and go talk to some people, socialize some, talk to some girls (but not about your girl!).
Kings_royalty said:Would it be a good idea to court her again?
Why would you want to court someone that doesn't want to be with you right now (maybe never). Think about it.
I would court her IF she started to show 'some' interest again, MAYBE.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Actually she already knows that I'm that hurt.. And she knew even before I talked to her about what happened.. It's ok to get hurt man, because I really deserve it.. I'd give up anything just to be with her again..Kings_royalty said:don't want to get her out of my mind,
Then you will be hurting for a while bro. You are just setting yourself up to 'hurt' some more.
You better hope she never finds out how hurt you are because she will use that bit of information to fvck with you.

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Time to do what? Are you on a time schedule or something? What are your intentions.DGboy23 said:What about in terms of giving her time? How much time should I give her?
Hey there man.. I've talked to her in person last night. She told me she doesn't love me anymore... Infront of me.. but I never cried coz I know deep inside, she still loves me and she is only mad because of what I did.. Anger is controlling what she is feeling so I asked a favor from her.. I asked if she could think about it again about giving me another chance... Just use your heart and your mind, but put emphasis on using your heart coz I know You still love me... Don't forget to pray as well coz I know God will give an answer, just don't think of the answer, let God answer it...Kings_royalty said:Time to do what? Are you on a time schedule or something? It's over. Walk away. Keep reading that preceding two sentences over and over until you GET IT. If you have to spend the next hours doing just that, by all means do. It'll be time well spent. She mentioned that the love that she is feeling right now is not the same as before that is why it's unfair for her to still continue the relationship with me.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
