Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

everytime i go out, whether its to work, shopping,or do some errands,i always see all sorts of beautiful women period.7s,9s,10s,etc.its like i see them, and i just cant talk to them.well in work its different cause my job is heavily focused on customer service.and i talk to several beautiful women on a daily basis.im trying to take that as a good practice.im almost 21,like in less than a week,so that means i can go out to bars and clubs more.like thats the grand irony in my life,i have this job that like puts me in contact with all sorts of beautiful women, yet i cant really ask them out cause i think its against policy plus risk of getting reported/written up.idk why i dont.i see some other guys doing it.and nothing happens.oh well.i guess i need increase in cofidence? another thing is,apart from well, not being the best with girls,is not having ever really been in any sort of ltr.is that bad? does that turn women off? its like,i go out,i see all these people together, and its like why not me? why dont i have that? how does it happen etc? i guess it comes from well, not trying that much.not being in school has part to do with it as well.but for me,thats another thing all together.

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
