"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I realized i cant be me or flirty around a girl if there are others around. Especially if it's during class or a similar social setting.

Am i fear of humiliation/rejection? perhaps.
Am i afraid they might think im a player? probably that too. Which just makes me look bad in front of other girls if i were to ever game them.

I find it easier for me to do it if im secluded with just the girl or if there are less ppl around...especially those that dont know me.

It's not the chatting that im afraid of. It's the intimacy/flirting/teasing...# closing with them if ppl are around.
how do i overcome this?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Its just practice. You worry too much about what others think of you. Its pretty normal to be that way though - if there is a girl you like you need to tune out the rest of the world and just zoom into her. Focus on her like you two are alone and go from there.

That ability to tune others out will get you noticed too.

When you are in a social setting with many people around, subtle kino will go a long way and build lots of sexual tension. For example if you meet a girl and shake her hand, comment on how weak she shakes your hand. Tell her to be firmer and shake her hand again. Then tell her that a she can't beat you at thumb wars since she didn't shake your hand right. This is a good start. Then beat her and stop. Talk for a bit and leave, but get her info and she more than likely will be naturally flirty with you the second time (and you should have her alone). Don't try to do too much too fast. If she is around her friends, make some C&F comments that make her friends laugh. The lesson is to build tension around her friends and relieve some of it when alone.
