I want to travel. I live in Australia.

I shall go by myself.

I want to go through Europe and the middle east preferably.

Where do you stay? As in good cheap but safe places. How long do you think you need?

How much money do you think you need?

I have never really been on a holiday. I love living places to get a feel for them normally.

I guess I wanted a thread where everyone could tell of their holidaying experiences and I could get ideas for my own.

So explain about your holidays gentlemen, the good the bad, the planned and what really happened etc.
