"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

These are some ******** phrases I've heard lately, I need a translator!

GUY: "Are you going out tonight?"
GIRL: "I'm not going out if you're not going."

"Jon and Amy do everything together, not like us where we hang out at night and go our seperate ways during the day."

"Be nice!"

"I hate you."

"We don't need to hang out tonight, If you already have plans it's fine."

"Do you like her or something?"

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Sounds like a case of the green eyed monster. Maybe a sign of insecurity.

If "be nice!" is said with any hint of a smile or a sparkle in the eyes, even if it's accompanied by a "love tap" on the arm, I've almost always found that to be a good thing. I hear that after teasing girls all the time.

"We don't need to hangout. If you already have plans, that's fine."

What she means is "I want us to hangout tonight, and you should ditch your buddies for me."

"I'm broke and since you always pay for everything I'm not going if you are not going"------------My ex played this one all the time

"Jon and Amy do everything together, not like us where we hang out at night and go our seperate ways during the day."
"God you are such an awesome guy and I just want to be with you ALL the time"----watch out, the chick has a serious case of oneitis

"Be nice!"
I agree with choasphere if she says it laughing. If she says it like she's your mom then you could probably translate it like this...."God you have no manners, why the heck are you always embarrassing me"

"I hate you."
"God, I love you, but you get me so frustrated cause you are such a challenge and I can't change you"------Most of the time it means something along those lines unless she just caught you having gay sex with her dad in which case it would probably mean "I hate you". Usually if girls really hate you they won't even speak to you.

"We don't need to hang out tonight, If you already have plans it's fine."
"You better be breaking those crappy plans you made and hanging out with me or you ain't getting in these panties for a week" or "it's OK cause I'm thinking about dumping you soon and there are gonna be alot of cute guys at the party my girls are going to."

"Do you like her or something?"
"I know she's prettier than me and I'm a little insecure about it so will you please stop talking about or looking at her"

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
