A transgender athlete is suing CrossFit after the fitness company allegedly barred her from competing in the women's division of the CrossFit Games.

Chloie Jonsson, a personal trainer and CrossFit athlete living in Los Gatos, Calif., filed a $2.5 million lawsuit against CrossFit for violating her civil rights, TMZ reports. Jonsson alleges she was denied the chance to participate in the women's division, despite the fact that she had gender confirmation surgery in 2006 and is legally recognized as a woman by the state of California.

The company reportedly said she cannot compete because she was born a male.

A sex change does not change bone structure. She will always have the skeleton of a man, which gives her a big advantage in what is basically a contest to break each other's bones.

Although the law would have to pass almost the highest level of Constitutional scrutiny because it discriminates on the basis of gender, I think it would do so due to the compelling safety interest involved, especially in light of the way concussions are treated by sports lately.

I never met the tranny, but my trainer knows another trainer whose female fighter had to fight her, and got her ass kicked. The tranny is not a skilled fighter, she's just a bigger, stronger skull-clubbing gorilla who exploits her physical advantage.
