"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I have been pondering this lately. I think this could be debatable for a couple of reasons. But before I give my two cents on the topic I want to hear what you guys think first, so I don't bias any of the discussion on it. So the question is: is being/getting mad unattractive to women?

Also as a secondary question. What is the best way to act out your anger or madness towards a girl/girlfriend? given that it is found to be the best course of action in some circumstances.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Yes it's unattractive.

And you need to exercise self control. Half the time "getting mad" is projection anyway, but if your girl has genuinely disrespected you, them you remove your presence.

Remove presence I understand entirely. But think about the hypothetical scenario: your girl/girlfriend disrespects you and they don't know/are unaware that they disrespected you. Ought you to tell them and then remove presence?

Depends on what you're getting mad for.

If you're getting mad because your favorite sports team lost, she won't really care.

If you're getting mad because she didn't text you goodnight or she refused to have sex with you or whatever, she will realize that she has a lot of emotional control over you.

You should always strive to make sure your emotions are not a reaction to her behavior. She is a tornado and you are Mount Everest. She whips against you, trashes against you and throws her petty tantrums but it simply doesn't phase you because you are a rock.

Being mad is only a turn-on for them under certain conditions. It can normally be called complaining/whining/frustration.

However, it's important to understand how the four main personality types relate to anger:

1) Elitist - boils things down to Appropriate/Inappropriate and uses Depression and Withdrawal when things are inappropriate. (Central Bankers)
2) Feeler - boils things down to Fair/Unfair and uses Bargaining and Conciliation when things are unfair. (Most people and most women act like this)
3) Analyst - boils things down to Logical/Illogical and uses Denial and Dismissal when things are illogical. (Mr. Spock is the classic example)
4) Driver - boils things down to Right/Wrong and uses Anger and Indignation when things are wrong. (Captain Kirk is the classic example, Donald Trump and myself are also this personality type).

(source: Glenn Foster, 1994)

So for some of us (about 10%) who are drivers, anger is our natural filter. This turns women on, "big league" (yelling at drivers in traffic doesn't count), but if anyone else acts angry they are outside their normal behavior zone. Captain Kirk in one of his shpeals turns women on. If Mr. Spock acted angry he would seem crazy.

Note that Drivers blow through anger and don't hold grudges. Meanwhile, feelers act horrified when people like Trump show anger toward things that are wrong and they are hurt forever.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Mad anger is a serious and potentially damaging emotion. It's best to control it and only get angry at important things ex: life or death situations

control is 33% of attraction (doc love)

mad crazy, on the otherhand, is a different story alltogether!

Never lose your cool I say.

That's not to say you're unemotional. Actually, I think the very definition of cool is when you are in control of your emotions... and along for the ride so to speak.

Generally, women respect a guy that can "keep his cool" under difficult situations.

But, I think she still wants you to have a "breaking point" so she knows you have a backbone.

So keep your cool 99 percent of the time, but genuine anger is fine in some rare instance where someone REALLY pushes you to the limit.

I've gotten mad with women before. It doesn't end well. Some women will be excited by it, but they are generally unstable themselves; I've had my share of them and again, it doesn't end well. Instead, employ amused mastery; treat her like a brat when she acts up.

With view genuine disrespect, drawn yourself a line in the sand of what you will and won't tolerate. If she crosses over, simply tell her to leave or disappear yourself. I generally give two warnings, depending on the misdemeanor. Third strike: out.

There's a way you can make being mad attractive, but you have to make it look like you're controlling yourself from blowing up. Your actions and words have to be very deliberate, don't lose control, and just make it look like you're completely fed up with something. It also depends what you're getting mad about, as it can't be about her, sports, or something petty.

Ultimately it's tough to describe, but I've been with a girl who said it was sexy when I got mad. "I love when you get mad like that"

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Anger is probably one of the few emotions women find attractive in men.. as long as its directed at the right thing.

Anger over something stupid will be a turn off. Overall, women find angry men more attractive than happy men according to scientific research.
This. I think anger excites them similarly to and in tandem with rough sex.

This right here.

Anger causes their emotions to fluctuate whether it's directed at them or directed at something else. If you're just placing blame on her for something stupid you did, then your anger is based on insecurity.

I skimmed through responses, didn't read them all. An unstable woman may find it attractive and could get some tingles.

I've brought plenty of plates to some of my hockey games. When ever they witnessed me get mad and/or physical I've always heard later that it made them wet or horny. If the anger is towards them tho it usually doesn't end up so well.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
