"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

HI all,

Is there really such a thing as too much??? I mean everyone has heard the old saying of "Too much of one thing is not good". But is it really true with women?? Sometimes I get a feeling it is, while I also believe that these women are getting what they want, while the rest are being revitalized.........Hope that last part makes sense................

edit: I mean that they are getting what they want from the guy that they are with.........Or something along those lines..........

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Oh man, this really isn't funny, but someone with a serious chemical imbalance in the brain asking about too much eye contact

Dude, were you on the Red line the other day sitting across the aisle from me? That was indeed TOO much eye contact:confused:

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

HI all,

I don't know man you were awfully cute.....hehe....;) And it is not a chemical imbalance persay...... Yes, the brain moves electro-chemically.....But still, I don't want to really talk about it right now...Its late, and I just wanted people to share what they thought of on this topic, perhaps even experiences...........

Schizophrenia-Schizopherantic.

Give a healthy amount of eye contact. But don't stare at her so much to the point that she thinks you are stalking her.

Eye contact is only foreplay to the real even, which is the approach. As soon as you've made eye contact, it's all systems go. Approach when you feel like it.

usually once they look away i stop looking at them and find something else that catches my attention... there's usually something going on in my surroundings I can look at.

but when talking to her then I dont think there's such thing as too much eye contact. You definitely don't want to look away when you're talking to her.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Interesting question.

First off I think you should of re worded it a little better into something that doesn’t sound really AFC.

Anyways,

Answer is for a Women- No for a Man – Maybe. It all Depends on your situation and how are you are conveying your look. In my AFC days I experimented with eye contact with girls when talking or in a group and sometimes I got bad results. :D Meaning sometimes they said it look like I was staring right through them. Other times I weird them out. Or they thought even though I was looking in their eyes I am really not but thinking of something like not totally there. Or too much Ooolala in your eye and she’s getting a pervert vibe and shuts me down. :woo:

Look up post on eye contact and MAVEC and that should give you more insight on eye contact and you can avoid the unnecessary comments and flaming.
