War Against Betaism
Master Don Juan
I read an interesting thing in Mystery's book the Venusian Arts Handbook. He talks about some history about how men and women look for two things in each other; replication value and survival value. Replication value is how fit and good looking someone is--he discusses how women with better looking bodies and pretty faces are said to have a higher chance for replication, which is why we find these women attractive. Survival value is how well you can survive in the world.
But the most interesting part is that 80% of our attraction switches respond to a woman's replication value, while only 20% respond to her survival value. 80% of a woman's attraction switches respond to the man's survival value, while only 20% replication.
What this means is that even if you're the sexiest guy in the planet, you've only flipped 20% of her attraction switches! You still have a lot of work ahead of yourself.
What most men misinterpret is that most of these good looking guys who have great success with women simply have great survival value, and they perceive that it is their looks that is actually getting them the women.
