I think there is some truth to this secret stuff, or at least positive thinking. If you always have the thought in your head that girls don't like you, you will show that in your body language when you are around girls and they will end up not liking you. But if you keep your thoughts positive and constantly think "Women love me" then you will be more happy and confident around girls. The most likely women will respond to you more positively.

As for praying to the universe for you desires I'm not too sure about that. I think the most important thing is making yourself ready to accept your desire.
