When you do some physical activity, like hiking in the mountains or running, acid builds up within your muscles. You can neutralize this acid by drinking sodim bicarbonate, it is a common food additive, baking soda.



Put a tea spoon into glass of water and drink. It will neutralize acid within your muscles, and you will go further. Burning and painful feeling in your muscles will go away.

Baking soda has so many uses, it boggles the mind sometimes.
