You might want to remove that link, not allowed here. Hence why I said pm :p

I'm fine with questions, it's just no one's posted the album up in newsgroups.

:), thanks! :D

Thank ya! I'm not a fan of torrents, for the horrendously slow speeds, but I guess Newsgroups can't post everything.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Never had to. I can suck down (almost) whatever I want at my full bandwidth capacity. It's just I was blown away that no one had a Thornley album up within the past....120 days..I seriously cried, how could that be possible.

Thank you though, I had a BT client still lying around even after I uninstalled it a year ago. Seems to me I better keep it there. :)

Newsgroups, it's the pre-P2P deal. IMHO, it's better, but it can't serve everything up, and since it's revolving content, you'll get the cycles of new stuff, and the reposts of the old albums. You might find some of the lesser known stuff, or some bands that are right old and good, and sometimes, it just didn't get served up.

It's a network much more then music though. Newsgroups, as the name implies, is what it is. However, it serves me happily, and 99.9% of the time, the servers serve solidly, full speed (ISPs hate me).

The downside, $$$. I'd recommend it.
