Ok this is a quirky New Years Resolution post but I was thinking that those that want to post their resolutions on here can keep each other accountable if they come across a post in which they see their brother slipping. Ill start...

Effective immiedately, I will trust the wisdom of my gut, not the rationalizations of my brain or the urges of my ****.

this year I am:

going to make more money
going to get into prime physical shape
have sex..lots of it by the end of the year
spend precious time with my son
get a better job
or better education
re-read the dj bible

I have attempted to do something similar on another message board, but barely anyone maintained accountability for their resolutions. In fact, most did not meet them. For that reason, I mostly dislike the concept of a resolution since 99% of people refuse to follow them....whats the point?

I believe I can achieve the goals set forth below.

My List

1- Read a few books. They have already been shipped, I would like to finish them in 2008.

2- Career Change. I want a significant pay raise.

3- Talk to more women in public - not bars/ parties. Admittingly, I am still pretty reserved in public, as I don't do much deviating from the work/ social routine throughout the year. This will be a challenging, interesting development, and I have already started - who needs a stupid day to wait to start something worthwhile?

4- get laid more.

i agree...i just thought that if people put up their goals and that if for example you see i am simply rationalizng some situation iwth some girl too much ud be like dude stick to your plan. maybe i am to idealistic
