I just watched american pie last night for the heck of it and man many of the threads in here remind me of the 4 guys trying to get laid before high school is over. Stiffler.... Hahahahahahahaha fukin hilarious. I even let my 16 yo watch it. Forgot how dirty some of it was. Guess I don't need to give her the talk before prom night. Oops. Lmao

No point in making sex a novelty or shameful. Better than violence! We teach her self respect and to be respectful of others, right from wrong and how to be safe. I can't stop her from doing anything she REALLY wants to do so why fight it. It works like reverse psycology so far. She understands reality. Besides at her age is when I started dating my wife and we moved out on our own at 17 and behaved far worse.

I'm thankful my kids are both doing much better than my wife and I did.
